Tears rolled down the face of Shelby, 6, as she hugged her Dad, Army Sgt. Shane Ely, who surprised her yesterday at an assembly at Rose Drive Elementary in Yorba Linda. Ely has spent the last seven months serving in Kabul, Afghanistan and is home for a two-week leave. Thanks you sir, for keeping all of our families safe. .
