Kids and family events in Orange County this weekend (Mar. 18-20)

NORTH COUNTY

Monstor Tomato and Pepper Sale: Over 250 varities of tomato and pepper plants for sale on Saturday, March 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Fullerton Arboretum, 1900 Associated Rd., Fullerton. Price: $3.00 and up. More info.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: The musical based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Bible will be presented Saturday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Luthern High School of Orange County, 2222 N. Santiago Blvd., Orange. Price: $10-$25. More info.

International Food Festival: Taste foods from around the world while enjoying live music at Strata Tustin Center, 14071 Newport Ave, Tustin on Sunday, March 20 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Numerous activities for children such as free face painting, bounce house etc. Admission is free with food items between $1 and $6 in tickets. Cat Rescue Adoption: Caring Friends Cat Rescue will have an adoption event at Petsmart, 2140 E. 17th St., Santa Ana on Saturday, March 19 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All cats have been spayed or neutered, had their 4 n1 vaccination, de-wormed etc. More info.

CENTRAL COUNTY

Exploring San Juan Hot Springs and Cold Springs Canyon Creek: Join Caspers Park Naturalist Karin Klein on a 3-mile journey through history and nature and explore the San Juan Hot Springs and Cold Springs Canyon on Saturday, March 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at OC Parks, 13042 Old Myford Rd., Irvine. SOUTH COUNTY

Art and Sea Lions: Tour the Pacific Mammal Center and view live sea lions then enjoy an art class and paint a sea lion paperweight to take home on Saturday, March 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Pacific Marine Mammal Center, 20612 Laguna Canyon Rd., Laguna Beach. Kids Fishing Clinic: Kids can fish for free on Sunday, March 20 at noon at Dana Wharf Sportsfishin, 24675 Golden Lantern St., Dana Point.  They can climb aboard a real fishing boat, meet the captain, hear stories and learn secret fishing techniquies. Open to all ages, price: free. More info.
