Run with the Grunions!

The grunions are coming!  What’s a grunion? They are a sardine-sized fish with a peculiar mating ritual.  During mating season, female grunions ride a wave onto the beach and lay their eggs in the sand. The male follows the female, and the eggs remain in the sand for 10 days. Once the eggs hatch, baby grunions ride high tide out to sea.  Well, Grunion Night is April 5th you’ll have the chance to see them up close and personal.  Bring a flashlight, a beach chair and WARM CLOTHES.  For all the details, CLICK HERE!
