Fish Artist Chris Tomlin Is Going To Be A Dad

May 4th was proclaimed as Chris Tomlin Day at Grand Saline, Texas where Tomlin grew up. The occasion was marked by a parade in his honor, a presentation of the key to the city by Grand Saline’s Mayor, and the unveiling of an honorary street sign marking a section of Main Street as “Chris Tomlin Boulevard.”  While he spoke, the street sign bearing his name was unveiled.
“It says ‘Chris Tomlin Boulevard.’ That’s just incredible,” the humble Tomlin said.
Later in his address to the crowd, Tomlin revealed that he and his wife Lauren are going to have a baby.
“It will be fun to take him to Chris Tomlin Boulevard someday. He’ll be looking at me like ‘How in the world? I know you, you’re my dad.’”
After the ceremony, Tomlin gave a free concert at his high school auditorium to excited fans.
